Barack Obama, la religion et l’avortement
Lorsque dans le Kentucky la campagne Obama distribue ce genre de flyer , on pourrait penser que le sénateur de l’Illinois est un membre du GOP (oui, il y a des noirs chez les républicains), ou bien un démocrate conservateur.
On a déjà parlé du côté conservateur de Barack Obama, côté obscur si l’on veut, côté que les médias ignorent trop préoccupés à en faire un gauchiste, dangereux ou pas. Reprenant bêtement comme des perroquets le classement du National Journal.
Doug Forrester, du Christian Broadcasting Network, à propos de ce flyer et plus généralement du parcours spirituel de Barack Obama, note qu’il ne devrait pas être sous estimé par les conservateurs et qu’il pourrait convaincre des/les électeurs évangéliques.
I know the conservative policy purists will say that Obama is liberal and therefore Evangelicals won’t buy his “Evangelical speak”. Not so fast. Remember, many people vote based on an emotional connection to a candidate or if they can relate to that person. Obama may need to work on this perception that he is “elite” but when he talks about Jesus and the Bible and the fact that he’s a sinner, it makes him more real and in the process, more electable too.

En tout cas, encore une mauvaise nouvelle pour Hillary Clinton qui pensait sûrement décrocher cet endorsement. Howard Wolfson, porte-parole d’Hillary Clinton, s’est dit surpris :
