L’Equipe de sécurité nationale de Barack Obama annoncée à 16h40
C’est à 10:40 (16h40 Paris) ce matin que Barack Obama annoncera son équipe de sécurité nationale. 6 postes sont à pourvoir. Les deux plus importants sont, on peut le dire, deux surprises majeures. A la tête du département d’état on devrait retrouver Hillary Clinton et à la défense Robert Gates, l’actuel secrétaire du département à la défense et membre du parti républicain, devrait conserver son poste.
Les autres nominations devraient être les suivantes : Eric Holder pour le poste de procureur général1 (Attorney General); Janet Napolitano, gouverneur de l’Arizona, pour le poste de secrétaire à la Sécurité intérieure (homeland security); Susan Rice pour le poste d’ambassadeur à l’ONU; James L. Jones pour le poste de conseiller à la sécurité nationale (national security adviser).
